ENJOY EVERY MOMENT

Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your little bundle of joy, I'm so excited to work with you and your family.

Becoming a parent is a wonderfully rewarding time in your life so enjoy every moment as this newborn stage is so precious and goes oh so quickly.

During your Adelaide in-home newborn photoshoot my aim is to capture every single detail of your little one, from those gorgeous pouty lips to button noses, squishy cheeks and tiny little feet and toes.

MEMORIES TO TREASURE

Documenting your new life with baby is so important to me as these moments are so special, this will be a memory you will definitely want to treasure, display up in your home and look back on in many years to come.

PREPARE, BE CALM

Ensure your home is nice and warm for baby. Aim to time your little ones feeding and sleep times so that they are nice and sleepy for their newborn session (you may wish to capture any breastfeeding moments if you're comfortable).

You will need to have nappies, wipes, towels or wraps on hand and any props or outfits you would like to use.

Gentle soft music is relaxing for you and baby and you may wish to have this playing in the background during your session.

Try to remain calm and relaxed, take some deep breaths so that baby gets those feels, if you are calm this will set the vibe for the day and makes for beautiful natural photos.

We may need to stop, feed and resettle a few times so that baby and yourselves are comfortable.

CREATE YOUR SPACE

It is imperative to create the ideal space. Think about a neat and tidy light cleared neutral area, maybe include some dried florals or a succulent plant, and natural light with plenty of windows such as a lounge, baby nursery or your bedroom will be required to set up in (don't forget to make the bed).

I have some props, baskets, blankets, wraps and a newborn posing beanbag I am happy to bring along with me to change things up and give your gallery some diversity.

RELAX AND UNWIND

Most importantly this is a beautiful time to sit back and enjoy this season of your life. Soak in those Fresh newborn feels and really just cuddle and love that precious little life you have created together.
