Based locally, Schinella Photography offers professional maternity and newborn photography throughout Adelaide and the surrounding regions. With a passion for creating heartfelt, natural photos, we focus on authentic moments that tell your unique family story.
I’m Kelly-Jade, the heart behind Schinella Photography. Photography has always been my way of freezing the little details — the curl of a newborn’s fingers, the way sunlight catches a smile, the golden tones that peep through your hair or the laughter between loved ones. These are precious moments that deserve to be held onto forever.
I believe photography is more than just imagery — it’s storytelling, visually.
My approach is gentle, natural, and emotive, allowing you to relax and simply enjoy the moment while I capture the authentic connections unfolding before me.
My Specialties
As a working Mum to a very active little boy, I understand the pressures behind running a family and trying to be everything to everyone.
During your session my aim is to help you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Generally you will see me running around, having fun and interacting with the kiddies. I have been known to 'crank the beats' every now and then, whatever brings the vibes during your session is cool with me.
With over 20 years experience in the Customer Service Industry, 13 years in Retail Management and a strong focus in Visual Merchandising and Styling, I believe Some of these skills and experiences are incredibly valuable to my Photography Business and assist in keeping me grounded as a person.
Creating thoughtful art for your home
I see all the colours of nature, and beauty in every soul I get to meet. Every session and every gallery I create is organic, because who wants the same photos as the last session.
I enjoy creating my own presets which give that quality individual feel for your images, I prefer to think of my work as unique and different. I am a visual person with a strong focus on the details, from shiny bling, tiny newborn toes, the look of love or even a button nose. I dislike caps, sunglasses and phones in pockets, details are so important and contribute greatly to that overall polished look of your gallery.
Throughout each session I do I am constantly evolving to perfect my art so that I can continue to create those memories for my clients.
